Walnut Lodge B&B boasts amazing staff and pleasant views of the gardens, making for a delightful stay. The room is spacious and features a clean bathroom, ensuring comfort during your visit. Breakfast is a highlight, with a wonderful variety of fresh bread, cereals, cookies, yogurt. ❤.

Our hotel was in a marvellous location on the outskirts of town. Further, it was short walk to a rural farm, the hosts' beautiful, tranquil garden, and a spectacular waterfall, the beautiful Blue Spring hiking trail and Hobbiton.

The hotel was fairly clean and wonderful, had pleasant views onto gardens. Favourable and amazing location to all Matamata tourist attractions, met every demand. Plus, it was right by best ocean beach in New Zealand, the outskirts of town, and the hosts' beautiful, tranquil garden.

I had a terrific stay at this beautiful hotel with friendly staff, and the modern units were well-equipped with amenities like a kettle and a microwave.

This venue has a fantastic location near a stunning waterfall and the scenic Blue Spring hiking trail, plus it's close to Hobbiton, all set in a peaceful area, and the breakfasts feature delicious homemade bread.

The deluxe queen studio we stayed in was well-appointed with lovely furnishings. the location is close enough to great hikes, the best ocean beach in New Zealand, and even Rotorua. the beautiful gardens on the property are maintained by the owners. the B&B is located off the beaten track.

The room we had included central heating, multi-channel television, and a microwave. the bed was exceptionally comfortable with hypo-allergenic pillows. the staff was ready to assist, amicable people. Its location was marvelous and awesome, handy to all Matamata tourist attractions, and in a pretty quiet area.
